One last post to catch us up.

She loved the Christmas cookies. Too much sugar for all of us!
Thanks Aunt Lori, Uncle Bill and Crew for the glasses and other gifts.
What a difference compared to last year. Look here to compare: last year
Oh how I loved the sun and ability to go out and about whenever we want without worrying if we can get back, or even out of the driveway. Shelby, however, was a bit sad that we didn't really have much more than a dusting while she was here.
Still cold, though.
Barely enough to cover the ground.
She loved the ride.
We went ice skating. She was saying "all done" before one time around - but that was actually a long time. She had fun, but once was enough to start out. Here she is with Daddy waiting for the ice to get ready.

Christmas Morning

So funny thing - both grandmas were thinking the same thing this year - matching aprins for Mia and Mommy. We got our first set from my Bobby's mom and then opened the ones from my mom on Christmas.
They are both so cute.
I have to tell a little background on the following set of pictures. Growing up we always had chocolate marshmallow santas. We have continued the tradition, and this was Mia's first year enjoying them. I just took a bunch of pics to show how much she loved having that sugar. She even said "cheese" with a mouthfull (how lovely).

Oh, and she also loves the bubbly - couldn't get her special cup out of her hand!

Let's catch up - Before Christmas

Well I know for sure that I am way behind - not because I haven't been visiting Blogger, but because I have begun to really spend more time visiting more couponing blogs. I have to say it might be a mild addiction, but at least it is one that saves my family money! Also I love to get free things and now I get something free in the mail almost daily. It is so much fun. I will post another time some of the scores I have gotten just from printing off a few coupons and matching them up with the sales.
For now - let's catch up on some family time from Christmas break.

We went to Portland for a few days since my parents were there and we wouldn't see them on Christmas. Here are a few cute ones of Mia. She couldn't get enough of her new shoes and also loved my new hat and scarf.
The other pictures are from our trip downtown Christmas Eve. We visited the mall (saw Santa but didn't even attempt to put Mia on his lap), visited the Davenport, and finally got to take the free carriage ride we have talked about for 2 years. I think it was so nice to not have so much snow. Shelby was a little bummed, though.

Davenport Dinner Gala

Before I got dressed and we left, Mia was being so silly wanting to take pictures. She would pose and say cheese. So cute.

Yummy dinner - the sea bass was the best. Forgot to take the pic of dessert.

After some dancing..

Some November Pictures

Such a funny little girl - this month she has decided that she will say "cheese" and smile, but we have to be quick to catch it. I love the ones with Bobby because 1) He is really smiling 2) She screamed when I first put this hat on the day before, but when she found it the next day, she LOVED it and played around in it for a long time, wanting to go look in the mirror. Has to be HER idea, always. :) oh, and it was the same with the other 2 hats also.
They make me smile.

Halloween

The first party -The Mommy and Me group - hard to get a picture of her looking at the camera.

Halloween day with Daisy wearing the shirt Mimi and Nono got Mia.

Carving pumpkins with Daddy (his is the good looking on in the next picture).

Mine has freckles (aka: mushy pumpkin from the frost)

Hard to see - but this is Mia's fish face.

Getting to see the pumpkins glowing with her new "doodle do" from the Halloween Carnival.

We went to the mall to do some indoor trick or treating and then went to a carnival. Mia loved playing games and collecting the candy. She didn't really know what candy was, just put it in her bag and moved to a new game.

Picking Pumpkins

We went to Green Bluff awhile back to get our pumpkins. It was hard to find many because the frost was so bad in early Oct. that most were mushy. We did find some, and some apples and had a great day. Mia has so much fun up there picking and eating.

So cute!

This is my new favorite picture of her.
