Grammie and Nono's House

We had an early Easter at Grammy's house. Mia had a lot of fun finding eggs (outside this year). We didn't get many pictures because our camera had just died. Forgot a whole group shot too.
Finally got a picture of Aunt Robin and kids.
This was as good a family shot we were going to get.
On our way home (1st of 3 days)
Thank God for the DVD player.
And left over Birthday gifts.
Overall a great trip, but a lot to do in just the week we had off for spring break.

Fun Times in California - Spring Break

We spent the first few days with my parents and had great weather. It was fun to have Mia play where I grew up. This time of year makes me miss California - such an early spring.
Love the look on her face here.
Tasting "sour grass" She didn't like it like her mommy, aunt, and cousin. Maybe some day.
If you couldn't tell, Mia LOVED the beach this time. There was a little pool left from high tide that her and Matthew were able to run through without worrying about th waves. It was perfect. And - you can't really tell, but this water was freezing.

Happy Late Birthday Mia

We just celebrated Mia's birthday with the three of us. It was a fun day - special breakfast with presents and ended it with a special dinner (she wouldn't eat it at all!!) and more presents.

Excited waiting for cake.
So cute and great for just the 3 of us.

And on to March

March was filled with grading endless assessments, being sick, a content weekend for my other Masters Grant class through EWU, Bobby's finals, conferences, getting ready for vacation, going on vacation to CA,  and most important, Mia's 2nd birthday (in the next post). The pictures below are fun ones from the month.

February - the month of parties.

I know that it is now April, but I think, "Gosh, where did Febrary and March go?" Well I know that February was when I started my masters (on top of Bobby's school) and the craziness began at the house. Not thinking about how crazy it might be, we planned 2 parties that month. One for both Bobby and I, and then the Potty Party. Whew! It was fun, but won't do that again!

I love Mia's face.
Helping Daddy open presents.
The birthday dinner Bobby made for me. The best fish! Yummy. His dinner is not pictured since we went out to Mamma Mia's. Rediscovered best Italian place in our opinion.
Now helping Mommy open presents. When is it my turn?

Potty Party

Our first party of the month was the Huggies Pull-Ups Potty Dance Party. I "won" a party pack from Huggies full of potty training activities and Pull-Ups. So we invited our near potty training friends and had a fun morning learning the Potty Dance, playing, and eating.

I put together little Party Gifts. I think the kids liked the granola bars the best!

Fun Filled January

It was such a beautiful day and she was having so much fun running and splashing in the mud puddles until...
We got a membership to Mobias downtown. She loves going. We went with cousin Matthew and Aunt Jessica on their trip in January, but Aunt Jessica has all the pictures with both kids in them...send some please.
We went again with Daddy and had lots of fun playing in the water.

Mommy and Mia made Valentines...Mia did such a grea job...didn't color on her arm until the very last one. Should have taken a picture of what we made.
